The
first proposal for a band was on the 5 th August 1951, by Mr Gabriel Pullicino
and Mr. Joseph Felice.. The committee elected three band commissioners,
G.Caruana, Joseph Felice and Alfred Muscat. The first Band Program was on the 23rd
March 1952 next to the Count Manduca’s Villa. Till
this present date the Band has had three Band Masters, Mro. Carmelo Briffa, Mro.
Clemente Sciberras & Mro. Joseph Vella.
