He was born in 1907, he began his studies with Mro. V. Sammut. Later he began to play with the Duke of Connaught Band of Birkirkara and King’s Own of Valletta under the direction of Mro Doncich. Mro. Briffa. He also played with La Valette Band, which was under the direction of Mro. Botti at that time took part in a festival in como, Italy. In 1927 he had the opportunity to join The opera house orchestra. In 1931 he continued his studies with  G. Abdilla. Besides being appointed the first Band Master for the St Gabriel Band he was also bandmaster for the St Joseph Band, Kirkop. His last performance was a musical program in the San Anton Gardens. he died on the 12th April 1972.
