I would like to make an appeal to all the Balzanin to appreciate the continuous hard work done by the members all year round. Continuous all year round work means sacrifices, for the individual and also for his/her family members. The work carried out in the club consists of – Manual work which includes maintenance of the feast decorations and extremely hard work during the month and a half before the feast. The worst part is from were will the club get the sum of Lm5, 000 to cover the expenses. 

As cashier I would like to appeal to all the Balzanin and those people who have come to live in Balzan to be generous especially when our members come door to door for the Sunday collection. This is because the sum collected from door to door collections amounts to Lm1000. One has to keep in mind that our Society takes care of the external feast, which includes bands, street decorations, statues, fireworks and the church lighting decorations. Till now we have always managed to reach our goals with the help of all of you, I am sure that you will keep giving us a helping hand. This year the Society has a greater task, that to build a basement and hall in the back part of the club.

I wish to appeal to any members who have not renewed their membership, to come over to the club from 6.00p.m to 8.00p.m.

I wish to give thanks to the ex-cashier for the work he carried out in favor of the club, and for his help when I needed.
