Musical Program,
MARVELLOUS! What a great programme! What
a brilliant performance by the St. Gabriel Band Club! Yes, the much
awaited Musical Programme brought to an end a week of celebrations…the
50th Anniversary since the purchase of the Club. The St.
Gabriel Band was in a splendid mood under the direction of Mro. Joseph
Vella and his newly appointed Assistant Mro. Tony Carbonaro. And what
about the surprises during the Musical Programme! Just to mention
some…when the backpipes came to join the band, Jessica Muscat and the
Ave Maria and finally when almost at the end, the bandsmen left the hall
one after each other as the selection chosen was Music Strike. Well
done goes to the compares… Marlene
Abela and Charles Abela Mizzi. They were smart and elegant. Well done
goes to all those volunteers who worked non-stop to decorate the Hall
and others who co-ordinated the publicity and the script. Well done to
the Band’s Director Mro. Joseph Vella, his Assistant Mro Tony Carbonaro
and all the Bandmen who did the St. Gabriel Band Club proud. Thanks
goes to the His Ecc. President of the Republic Dr. Edward Fenech Adami
who honoured us with his presence. The audience was wonderful and their
attendance gave us more courage to work harder in the long run.
Definitely, the ST. GABRIEL BAND CLUB
remains in the heart of our community.

Success! In an extraordinary atmosphere
and the brilliant music of all times, The Blue Planet Party organised by

a very high mood with the music offered. All in all, well done goes to
the Youth Committee for the perfect organisation throughout the
activity. Yes…today’s activity showed what a Society we’re in and
we’re ready to offer more in the future.
